Enhanced Microfilm Scanning

HODDESDON, HERTFORDSHIRE, 5 JUNE 2007 – e-Docs UK has enhanced its microfilm scanning capabilities with the installation of a Wicks and Wilson CS series aperture card scanner at its head office in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. It will deliver maximum throughput, automated production tools and high volume batch scanning of aperture cards and means that e-Docs UK now has the capability to scan any type of microfiche or microfilm.

The CS range of aperture card scanners is designed for higher volume production scanning and uses the latest imaging technology to produce the highest possible image quality.

e-Docs UK has the capacity to scan 2000 aperture cards plus 150,000 frames of microfilm per day.
